    bogging out

    I need help bad. 115 HP V4 1992 Johnson. Ok here goes. Starts up fine, revs up and warms up fine in nuetral. When I give it gas it starts off great and get to 5000 rpms no problem but then about 100 yards it boggs down like its flooded. I rev it up in nuetral,again off we go same thing boggs...

    Tstat or Deflectors??

    Well about to start the Tstat replacement project tomorrow in my 115 V4( much knuckle busting expected) then this morning a buddy tells me it might be my water deflectors causing the overheat....WTH! Called a local mechanic and he said the heads have to be removed to check the deflectors...

    Tstat tip needed

    I have a 1992 115 HP V4 and I need to replace the Tstats. Wow what a hassle to get to the bolts! Any tips in making this task a little easier would be greatly appreciated.
