Has anyone else had or having problems with cooling because of upper and lower exhaust guide failing\rotting out. This problem appears to be on the exhaust side, not the water side. If so, how did you resolve the issue? Would Yamaha help? Motor has 940 hours and warranty ran out Feb. 09
I have a 2003 LF225 that gave me a overheat alarm. Put a waterpump kit in and replaced thermostats. Will not pee water while on muffs or in 55 gal. drum. Wouldn't discharge water before I replaced parts. I traced the discharge tube back to where it goes into what I believe is the rectifier...
