    Float needle is shot, and it appears it's discontinued and obsolete everywhere, any suggestions? Does this guy just need a new carb?

    no resistance/open on blue/yellow stator wires

    I disconnected the blue and yellow wires and tested resistance red probe to blue, black probe to yellow and have an open circuit as per the manual described. am I safe to assume the stator is shot?

    Got a free 60 hp Chrysler magna power, was 200 bucks before I discovered a dead upper cyl. The following pictures tell the story, can I just toss some rings and a gasket kit and call it a love story?

    I have a manual, but directions are different from reality. I'm trying to drop the lower unit, and I dont want to force anything, but it's loose now, think i'm stuck on the shift linkage. Any ideas?

    1990 9.9 evinrude submerged in ocean...for a long time

    I will order a manual, I'm attempting a complete rebuild on this motor. Was a very reliable motor, if anyone has any helpful tips or maybe there are photos of the breakdown procedure, I would greatly appreciate it. Pat

    75 evinrude 85hp spark issue.

    I had an earlier post about lack of power, so anyhow, I put a timing light on each cyl and discovered one is not sparking, and that really explains alot. I'm going to check resistances from the powerpak to the plug tip to see if I can find anything. The question is.......am I missing anything...
