Good day mates. I have replaced bearings and seals in my 1964 E-rud 28 hp gearcase. I put prop on for dry run and noticed that it does not seat aganist the seal housing. it is about 1/4" away. of course that is with the pin inserted. What can I do to correct this. I am worried about cavatating...
Good morning Mates. Well started into the lower unit of my 28 HP. Found several things to include a bad bearing. When I took my pinion gear out the roller bearings started falling out. The pinion gear looks like that of a 68 model versus my 64. Is this bearing incased? If so ,without a puller...
Good day Mates and God bless. I drained and put in new oil before the Week end, but when I checked it last night after two trips out, it was Milky looking. What is my problem? I have no leakage around the prop. The second problem with my 28 HP E-rud was surging at high speed. :confused:

Al right guys, Here is one on me. I have got my old engine running good. After removal from water. I noticed a black drainage, from my lower unit water ports. Lower unit oil is fine. It is draining onto my blade. It this a carbon build up, or have I lost a seal some where?
