Took the boat to the bay over the weekend when it was extremely low tide at the mouth of the bay. The low unit hit the sand bottom once and I suspect that cracked the fiberglass around the transom due to stress. Does anyone have any idea how to repair it? Can I just get a fiberglass repair kit...
I took the boat out about 2 months ago. Before I put it in storage, I unplugged the fuel and left the engine run until it uses up all the gas in the line. I pulled the boat out yesterday and the engine won't start. Last time I was on the lake, it was started to have some small difficulty...
The hydraulic won't lower this weekend, came to find out it was a bad o-ring and wiper on both piston, all the fliud has leaked out.

I have a seized 470 with Alpha I (Chaparral 187XL - 19'), the engine won't turn and it was having water in oil. I think the engine is pretty much shot. So I am thinking to rebuild it or replace it with a 4.3 V6. Is it possible to replace it with 4.3 V6? If so, what is the pros/cons of doing so...
