I currently have a 96 454 mercruiser that has the Sea pump and fuel pump combo. The fuel pump is slowly leaking gas into the oiled area of the pump and it is also slowly leaking oil externaly. So I'm thinking of changing to an Electrical fuel pump and mounting a crank driven Sea pump. So far...
