    Any steering setup is OK. I prefer single push-pull cable to twin tiller cable for safety. Throttle and shift are standard, off the shelf clamp type 3300 cables.

    There is a schrader valve on the fuel rail to chk pressure. Could be the high pressure pump (FFP) or the ECU.

    Get a Factory service manual. The little "flipper" is for reverser lockout of tilt. Sounds like you need to adjust the shift coupler.

    Check pressures, May have a sticky injector as well. What is your actual TLDI model?

    Of course full data is in the Factory service manual. Yes, a voltmeter is OK for testing. You may have a cooked ECU.

    The decompressor is why you're low. Is the vacuum line for the fuel pump blocked, or is it leaking?
