I have a 1996 Merc with about 25 hrs on it,shop says oil injection plastic drive gear is on the crankshaft its either pull power head and change gear or plug ports and just go ahead and mix oil with gas and save 2000.00 is this a good idea. Thanks for any ideas or opinons Rick Im getting...
This motor has not got more than 25 hrs on it,gear that drives oil injection has gone out,was told this is on the cranshaft to repair cost 1600-2000 or just mix oil with gas from now on, motor is not fuel injected,would just mixing oil be a good idea and save the 2000?
