    johnson 115 starting problem

    i have a 1985 johnson 115 if you hold the choke in it will start and run but soon as you let it go it dies, can switch the choke switch over to manual will start fine but soon as you turn it to run it dies any suggestions?

    whn i take off the cover plate covering the carbs,and push the throttle lever down the carbs dont open fully,when i adjust the cable to where the carbs open fully it idles way to high?

    1985 johnson 115 motor rattle

    i have a 85 johnson 115 at full throttle you can hear a slight rattle,you can put your hand on the flywheel and shake it hard and you can hear it rattle a little bit though you cant feel it move at all,is this normal? or is it a problem?
