No luck yet…still working on it. I sanded the head down and put in a new head gasket on it. Slight increase in cylinder pressure. I haven’t tried to run it yet.
Thanks for all the help fellas! I’ll take the head off and check it out. For some reason I did not suspect the head gasket but it could be! I will make sure to report back.

No my brother in law bought it at a flea market about 15 years ago. I had it running in a barrel last summer but it wouldn’t rev up and the water was full of black sludge.
