    no reverse after puting in new inpeller

    the seril # 195501 took it to shop had impeller for water pump put in now i have no reverse. the shop i took it to is no loger open becase of hurricane. if some one could hep me it would be greatly appriciated. by the way it"s a 7.5 mercury. and what year is it? thank you

    After puting in water pump i have no reverse what u think happened and how do u fix .:confused:

    motor has a miss

    pulled off cowl and pulled wire plug frome boot and replced also relaced plugs but still has a miss . Could it be the coil pacs ? 78 140 johnson on 17 mako:confused:
