Hello. I have a 1986 Rinker V-170 with a 140HP 4 cyl OMC 3.0L Cobra I/O. I threw a gear in the lower unit, and need a new/used one. I have found a 1993 OMC 3.0L Cobra I/O lower unit, but am not sure if they are interchangeable. Please advise.
Hello folks. I have no idea where to start. My engine at WOT runs at about 32-34MPH and is doing about 5500RPMs. According to what I've seen, this is not optimum. What I've heard many times is that my normal operating RPMs should be 45-4800, and I should be getting 35MPH easy at this RPM...
