    :lol:im looking to get another boat I like the polar 23 walkaround . A lot of them come with 115 twin Yamaha's on them im wondering if they have to work to hard to push it and wondering about fuel milage maybe 150's would be better. anybody have a opinon? thanks

    alarm going off

    1998 115 oil injected 2 stroke outboard. When I turn on the key to start the motor the alarm goes of with a steady beep. It siarts up and runs ok but the alarm stays on. I drained the fual from the carbs and its getting oil to them.And It cant be hot. pees a good stream when its running I dont...

    compression on 200

    A buddy and I are looking at a hydro sports with a 2001 200 Hp Johnson We checked the compression and the starbord side is 90 psi and the port side is 80 psi less than 10% difference burt it seems low . the motor has 440 hours on it. what do ya'll think? thanks

    fuel gage and key switch

    my fuel gage and trim switch dont work. sender looks good and getting power to it. I put a new gage in does the same thing, nothing. When I turn the key on the gage jumps a tiny bit.Shows empty. could I have a bad key switch? everything elese works.150 2005 merc. Anybody? thanks.

    I bought a suzuki DT90 09001-65116 2stroke . I was told it was a 97 90hp . but I cant find anywere tha shows that seriel number thats on the side of the motor. I need to find a lowere unit for it and know what other model susukis eill fit it . thanks if anybody can give me information.

    I allways use the motor in florida warm waters(225 97 ocean runner). salt water corroades them. can they just be removed? thanks

    oil and gas mixed betterfor ethanol?

    I was told that if you do away with the vro and mix the oil and gas in the tank it better and dilutes the crap. Is that true ? it kind of makes sense, Anybody?

    decarb 1995 150 johnson

    Somebody said you can decarb you motor by filling the water seperator with sea foam and running the motor after its warmed up. Is this safe . if it has a vro oil pump. thanks

    What is is the life (hours) of a 150 hp 1995 well maintained Johnson. I see people asking questions about motors that are 50 years old. I think its about 4,000 hours . but if you tell someone its got a 1,000 hours on it they think its shot thanks

    I tried to buy champion spark plugs today for a 200 johnson ocean pro . QL78yc they sold me crossoverNKGR7HS the champions are set at .030 . the NGK are set .020 right out of the box. Should I reset them? to .030 thanks

    Is there a oil drain plug on a 90hp 2006 Suzuki 4stroke . I think the bottom cowling has to come off to see it . am I right? thanks
