I have a 21` party barge pontoon with a 70hp evinrude lightly loaded im only getting 4200rpm and 16 mph on gps.I currently have a 13x19 13 spline prop and need to know how far down I need to go in pitch to achieve 5800rpm
I have a 1975 70 hp evinrude.after 3 or 4 hours of start stop the little 20 amp fuse by the solenoid blew.ive already replaced the rectifier and woder what could cause this.i rtead somewhere it could be the power pack but I am not sure..is there a way to test the power pack?

hey ive got a 1994 vovlo penta 4.3gs holley 4 bbl and am having problems ..it runs good on the muffs but whe i take it on the water it stalls..the carb would flood in all 4 barrels i rebuilt the carb replaced the relay the p.o supposedly replaced the pump and seperator i went out this morn...
i have a 1994 volvo penta 4.3 gs holley 4 bbl. i have a miss at all rpms i cant figure out.. i have rebuilt the carb replaced spark plugs,cap,rotor and ign. control module the p.o supposedly changed the fuel pump and filter..compression was about 160 in all cyl and the new plugs are black.idles...
