    I am acquiring a wellcraft 20' with hydraulic steering (helm and lines to stern). There is no cylinder to mount to the motor and it seems like all the sites I can find exclude the 77-90 model rude 200 hp. What gives? Any ideas where I might find the required cylinder?

    84 Johnson 40HP J40ELCRM

    I have searched for this problem and can't find any reference to it. Seems lots of problems with motor not starting. My problem is the motor won't stop running. I'm assuming it is a problem with the grounding circuit from the switch. Yes I have ordered a manual, but it isn't here yet.
