I have a 1987 8hp and a 60hp mariner i took out the oil mixer cleaned out the main aluminum tank then placed a Tee in the fuel line to run off the same tank of gas. Could the 60hp be sucking in to much fuel and maybe grab from the 8hp making my 60 run like this.

Second is there and uper and lower water pump and should water always be running out of the tube in the back of the motor also whats is that tube called so i don't sound stupid again

Help NGK spark plug part# for a 1987 60 hp mariner i can't find it on line :confused: serial number on motor is A165665 if that helps. I can find any parts for this motor Grrr but i need to know if the plugs are right in this motor Thanks if you can help or drop me a link to look it up.:cool:
1987 60 HP mariner was siiting for 3 years. I have a silver coating on the top spark plug. Umm is this the cylinder walls :mad: and if it is how much a ball park range will this set me back $$$. Bore pistons and rings right. New to this boat stuff plz help Thank You.
