    Got a chance to pick up an older 35 hp for parts, do you think the gear case from a 35 fit on my 1990 force 50. Can anybody determine the age of this 35 ??

    50 hp force top end issues

    I have a 1990 50 hp Force that's giving me a big problem. One time last season I thought I had a spun prop, lots of revs but no top end speed, with a fairly loaded boat. ( 2 adults 2 kids) . I took the prop off and marked it no sign of slippage. Next time out, ( end of season), it worked...
