I have a 1988 DT150SS. It runs well in the driveway but when in the water it stalls out. I have already cleaned the carbs, put new plugs in, and got new fuel filters. I think its the fuel pumps. I pulled the lower pump apart and there were pin holes in the diaphragm so it that my problem?
I wasn't aware that outboards don't have airfilters. I called the Suzuki dealer and he said that the motor doesn't have a filter. I told him that my motor runs great in the driveway with muffs on it but when i put it in the water it stalls out. He told me to clean out my carbs and that would fix...
the motor was rebuilt but it won't idle. the carbs are fine and the jets have been blown out so they are clean. it has new plugs on it. what else can be done?
I just bought a skeeter bass boat but the only problem with it is that it won't idle. It cranks right up the first try but it just won't run at idle. The carbs are fine and the plugs have been replaced and the jets have been blown out. What else can be done?
