    adjust timing on 1968 55hp 3 cyl

    how do i set the timing on a 1968 evinrude 55hp 3cyl.also can i adjust advance retard and throttle pickup.have converted to car coil .have intermittent misfire as if it keeps droping a cylinder.

    what hp and age model/serial is my engine

    Have just bought johnson/evinrude 3cyl but cant find any clues to hp age.Serial no plate is missing .can anyone help it has a distributor under the flywheel stator has three ht leads out and a single coil lead in it is fitted with a Sierra power pac part no N185747 . any ideas?

    Johnson 90hp and 110hp are they the same engine ?

    Are 1980s johnson 90 and 110 hp the same engine but just tuned a bit more for the 110 hp have a chance to buy one of each the 110 has no spark so wanted to use parts from 90 to make good one.

    Merc v6 Carbs jet size /adjustment

    Have merc 150 v6 approx 1982 with three carbs (mercarb wm12)there are no main jets what size should i use at sea level? also can see no mixture adjustment how do i adjust idle mix .Are any diagrams of this model carb available please
