    I don't remember what the meter was set at. I just know the new fuse fixed it and I'll take it. LOL

    The new fuse worked and did not blow. I have 2 extra fuses in the boat now. The fuse did test good with ohm meter but not under load. If you put a tester with a light in it, no power on the other side of the fuse. It is weird.

    Hello and thanks for the advice. It turns out it was the fuse. Apparently a fuse can test good with an ohm meter but as soon as a load is applied it fails. I feel embarrassed but live and learn.

    Hello, I hope someone can help. I have an 89 Evinrude 150 xp. I changed the ignition switch, solenoid, and neutral switch. The only fuse I could find tested good with my ohm meter. Is there a fuse I am missing? Thanks
