    numbers don't add up!

    1988 Donzi Ragazza 25' (4600#)w/ 7.4 merc, bravo 1, quick silver 14 x 19 prop, gil manifolds, corsa exh. With two people and 1/2 tank of fuel(35 gals) peformance is lacking, 41mph at 4200 rpm is all I can get I think I should be able to push 50 mph, am I missing something?

    While servicing the lower unit and impellar I noticed a tube loose inside the exhaust port in the motor leg. upon further inspect I found 2. I have identified them from the motor leg diagram.
