    1984 VRO 90hp Evinrude only getting 5v from rectifier.

    Hi Lads, Battery was going dead on the second hand Evinrude... Noticed only 5v on the rectifier... So assumed faulty..! Replaced. No change... Can I assume half of the stator winding is dead therefore then culprit..???
