I have somewhat of a scary issue with one of my Sea Drives.
The motor will trim / tilt up on it's own, intermittenly of course.
I thought the switch may have been defective and replaced it.
Now the motor will trim / tilt up and down on it's own.
It seems as though the relays are sticking...
I plan to do so trolling this year and would like to get some recomendations on a minimunm RPM to avoid any build up or fouling issues.
I have 27' chaparall with twin 115's. My plan is to run one motor with a drift sock or two as needed to achieve the speed I need (.5 - 1.5 mph).

I have a 84 Chaparal 278 XLC, and want to mount my fishfinder (Eagle 480 Fish Mark) transducer in the bilge. Does anyone know if the hull is solid cosntruction, and how well the transducer will work in this area?
