    Not getting WOT RPM's

    I have a 16ft Sea Nymph with a 1989 Johnson 30hp, model number J30ELCED. The guy I bought it from said he had the boat up to 28mph on the fishing graph.     1989 Johnson pivot screw

    I was changing the gear oil on the motor and I accidentally pulled out both the drain screw on the left, and the pivot screw on the right side. Of course I started looking things up after I was done changing the gear oil. Once I had taken the pivot screw out I was able to get it back in...
