    Interchanging Stern Drive Lower unit??

    Hi, I have a mercruiser 4.3, Alpha One Gen 2 Stern Drive, ratio of 1:81L. The housing on my lower unit is damaged. Can I replace the lower unit with a Alpha One, Gen 2 Drive that's a 1.98R Keep in mind its just the lower unit. not the full outdrive.
