We've recently purchased a 15' Tempest w/ a 1979 55hp Johnson 55EL79C motor that I was able to try out before purchasing and haven't had a chance to run it since.
The owner started the boat, it started right away and it all seemed to run fine. I wish I had paid attention to what he was doing...

We've recently purchased a boat and in spite of my best efforts, I'm still preparing to get it ready for our vacation. To give you an idea, I'm currently fighting w/bushings to install the trailer springs I've had re-arched...and the list goes on...
I'm not going to have any time to 'test'...
