    Alignment questions .......(engine to gimbal) .......

    1. When using the alignment tool, are the rear mounts torqued to spec. and all adjustments THEN done at the front mounts? 2. Haven't read of any side to side adjustment, but the clearances (sloppiness) in holes in the front mounts seem to allow for some movement. If the answer to 1. above...

    Volvo SX drive - how much hp/torque can it handle?

    I have a 2002 Caravelle 26 with the Volvo SX drive (behind a 320 HP GXi 5.7 Chevy). Dry weight about 4100 lbs. Will this drive stand up to 550 hp/595 ft-lbs of torque if rebuilt correctly (drive has 730 hours on it, rebuild is due)? The 5.7 is being swapped for a 496 already on the garage...

    Prop Advice needed - keeping motor, swapping boats

    Looking for some advice on propellor selection for my new project. Had a twin engine 1989 30 foot Velocity poker run boat. Slaxton built 496's which dynoed at 575 HP and 590 ft-lbs.
