    I had a 1997 force by mercury 120 hp and lost the lower unit . So I put on a 1995 90 hp lower unit the 1997 120HP lower unit is 2.07:1 1995 90HP lower unit is 2.3:1 I have a Laser SS 48-16992A45 22p But the rpm is now about 6000 wot not sure because I really didnt want to take it that...

    2002 mercury 25hp impeller change help

    does the lower unit drop down and come off with a simple removal of the bolts,or is there a shift linkage that needs to be removed. I also am getting some water mixing in with the gear oil so how hard is it to change all the gaskets to stop this and what gaskets are there....thanks

    Mercury 25 hp problem and ?

    Changed my lower unit gear oil and found it milky.I know this indicates water mixing in the oil. I noticed the top screw didnt have a washer on it. Could it come from this ? also where else could water come in from. I think there is a seal by the prop somewhere...thanks

    I was thinking of upgrading my tracker from a 25 hp to a 50 hp...... Right now by myself light load I hit 23 mph.........How fast do you think the 50 will go.......It is a johnson 2000 50 2 stroke

    Tach help

    I need help trying to figure out why my tach doesnt work...I have a 2002 mercury by tracker 25 hp on a bass tracker pt165.....any help where to start would be appreciated.............the wires on the back of tha tach seem clean and tight........not sure where it reads from on the motor.............

    25 hp 2001 tracker pt165

    My tach doesnt work.........Can anyone tell me if this 25hp motor and boat set up should have worked when it was new from the factory........Im not sure if because it is a 25hp if the tach was factory set up ? Thanks ........

    Help .....My 2001 25 hp wont go in gear

    I afraid the lower unit is messed up. My 2001 25 hp wont go in gear forward or reverse.........I was trying to load my boat and when I put it in gear it just reved up but wont go.........I am wondering if the lower end went out or maybe some cable popped off..........any help would be appreciated
