I have a 2004 Glastron GX185 with the 4.3 V/6 in it. I am considering buying a 4 blade SS prop. Anyone out here with any experience running a 4 blade on a 4.3? If you think it might be worth a try what size would you suggest trying? <br /><br /> :confused:
I have a Volvo I/O and can not keep a trim setting. I set it and it just works its way back down in a short time. Any one out here with the same problem or have had the same problem and have corrected it? Maybe it is tilt control. It is on a 2004 Glastron, 185GX, with a 4.3 V6.
Catfish, thank you for your response. Is there anyone out here running "SMART TAPS" on their boats besides catfish? The claims made by the manufacture sound logical and great, but I would like to hear from boat owners that have had some experience with them.<br /><br />Captain Glastron Ron
I have just bought a GX 185 Glastron with the 4.3 Volvo Penta. Prop on the boat is a 14 1/4 X 23 aluminum and I am thinking about putting a 14 3/4 X 21 steel on it. What do you think? Do you have a GX 185 and what are you running, and are you happy with it?
