I think my Original distributor is a Mallory (probably) 40104. (it at least says 40104 on the distributor but has no brand markings)
Either way, I removed the distributor looking for markings without realizing it would mess up the timing. I didn't mark it before pulling it out.

I’ve installed:
New Rochester Quadrajet w/ electric choke
New electric starter
New thermostat
New manual fuel pump
New fuel filter
Blew all hoses out with compressor
Started with the gas cap off
Replaced fuel line from carb to engine
Ran boat...
