I've heard a quite a bit of variation on the answer as to where the exact location of the cavitation plate should be in relation to the bottom of the boat. Any ideas? And are there any circumtances in which you might want different adjustments? Thanks, Roy.
My problem I am having is that when I raise the motor temporarily to clean off the prop, get off the bottom, whatever, I get a good bit of turquoise colored sludge that leaks out of the upper unit. This only happens when the motor is running or has recently been run. I was thinking it might be...
