    I asked eariler, but thought I would ask again. I replaced the soleniod, and stil it does nto go up or down with the button, If I take the red wire, with the fuse, off the wire block and touch the green or blue it wil go down and up. Am I suppose to have any voltage at the switch? I checked...

    ok I have a 1978 85hp Evinrude, the trim and tilt worked fine, and one day it stopped, I replaced the solenoid but it still doesnt work It has a jimper block on it with the green and blue there, if i jumper from the red to the blue or green it will go up and down. any way to check the switch?     1978 85hp

    I have an issue that it will not plane off. Unless I have someone sit on the front, not an open bow, and weigh the front down, it will not palne off? Do I have the wrong prop on the motor? I have a 85 hp evinrude 1978 motor, it is a 15' glastron speed boat, any help would be great Thanks
