my 70 horse Johnson takes off great for a short while then it "loads up" and falls on its face.
It seems to start and idle just fine but under load it just doesn't take off.
I don't think that it is a fuel problem because I use the same tank for my trolling motor and it seems to
run correctly...
Could someone please enlighten me on why my primer bulb "collapses" and
doesn't let any fuel get through to my 1982 Johnson 70 horse motor.
This usually happens at higher speeds.
Please help this begginer out!
The tach for my 1982 Johnson 70 horse model # J70ELCNB no longer
works.
What can I check to see if it is broken or if it somehow came unhooked?
Is there some kind of inline fuse?
Can anyone tell me where to purchase a carberator gasket for a 1966
6 horse Evinrude Fisherman outboard motor?
I can't seem to find the model # but the serial # is 6602BE01869.
www.Evinrude.com parts only go back to 1968.
Thanks for any help!
I have a Johnson 70 horse outboard motor (model J70ELCNB)
and when I was changing the lower end oil I accidently
removed the bearing screw that is between the top and the
bottom oil changing screws.
The local boat shop says that as long as the "O" ring is still
good on the screw to just put...
I have a 1983 Johnson 4.5 seahorse outboard model #J5RHCTA and was wondering what the correct procedure for putting on a new pull rope
because last season the original one broke. I would appreciate any help
Thank-You and happy boating!
