I have a 2002 stingray w mercruiser 5.7. 5 or so years ago the alarm kept randomly occurring and there was a corroded lead on back of engine and my buddy fixed it. It is happening again but i do not know where lead is. Anyone know where it is and how to locate it/what it is called?

Cracked block a couple years ago and changed from mercruiser 5.0 to 5.7. My current prop is quicksilver 1916p19 aluminum and is pretty chewed up. My boat is a stingray deckboat (230 ds I think). Alpha gen two.
