have a friend who has a 94 merc 40hp 4cyl. he says #3 cyl is dead. compression is 120 on all 4 cyl. coils and wires are good. he swapped coils around with no results. when you pull off #1,2or4 plug wire you hear a drop of rpm but not so with #3. the plug is emitting a sharp blue arc...

was given a alum prop over the weekend. it fits on my evinrude 110, but the only markings on it are "MICHIGAN PJ 81" on the hub itself, and "G6908" on the outer housing. can anyone tell me the pitch and diamater of it? thanks for any help you can give. gary
have a 17 ft. 74 aquasport cc with a 89 reman 110hp evinrude, 25 gal fuel tank. at wot 5500rpm boat speed is 3-38mph (speed according to fishfinder). prop is 131/4 by 15 alum. should boat have more speed or is this about right. holeshot is good.
