    Replacing #3 coil, Force 1988 125 1251X8A

    Does the what looks like 3 studs holding on the whole electronics plate on come off to get out the #3 coil? Looks like that to me. Right, wrung?

    Long ago at work one the Pipefitters at work used this on anything "rubber". Be it O-Rings, etc. I STILL have a 1/2 full tube it, decades later. TRUST ME HERE!     Frank, ya nailed it! Way easy to just yank the anode and remove the bottom carrier bolts. My 1988 125 sits in salt 3 months the year motor tilted up but bullet still in the water.     Frank, need some knowledge 88 Force 125 exhaust bellows. Mine split.

    Just splashed first time the dock. Ran fine in the drive as water and exhaust, goes out the snout L/U. But would not idle with the L/U in water, and cowling on. (Just some FYI others). Well long to short, split bellows was flooding the motor with water spray. Wondered why the foam in the cowling...
