Obviously, I wasn't aware of the difference. I am used to working on 4 stroke engines, not a 2 stroke motor. I THOUGHT this forum was a place where I could learn, without prejudice or humiliation - or am I wrong? The fact I was unaware that the VRO is vacuum activated might have been a clue...
"The pump has an air motor driven by crankcase compression" I have to be getting compression, or I wouldn't be able to start it. Although, I'll check the next time it's not raining to see if one of the cylinders is bad.
Does anyone know what the resistance values of the 4 wires are supposed to be?
My pump isn't working, and when I used an ohmeter, I'm getting values ranging from 500 to 1200 ohms.
