    Yes you can cut it off just take care on the inner race not to cut into drive shaft

    It is an oem merc webber. that’s the choke pull off which uses vacuum to operate

    Take your time , you will get it off. Given vibration and noise bet you find rusty u joints and gimbal seized to driveshaft.

    That may be but the pre 98 and up gen 2 drive use a diff part number for the bearing pack in input yoke than the earlier ones. so hard...
