    I must have been careless on dowel pin, hard to tell exactly. Got it together and fired it up, but can't test it until lakes melt in late April.

    Hi, I replaced the main bearing in my 1991 25hp Johnson and the lower seal carrier has 3 bolts and when I tighten them down it binds the crankshaft bearing making it hard to spin the crank by hand. Am I suppose to lock tight them and snug them until the crank feels tighter? Thanks for any...
