79 evinrudge 140hp. I have spark, changed plugs still won't turn over. today I put old plugs back in. it started then I turned engine off and tried to re-start and I was back to same thing crank but won't start. three and four plugs were wet. :mad:
I replaced Ignition fuse and have new battery,so now I have Ignition. it cranks but won't start, I pulled plugs and they are good just cleaned them and put them back. still the same crak won't start, not sure where to go from here
I recently perchased a baot with a 1979 140hp evinrude. but I can't get it to start, I turn key and I get nothing not even a click from solinold which tested is good and so is starter. hooked jumpers from car batt, to boat cables still nothing. don't know where to go from there.
