I have a 1994 Mercury 25 HP 2 stroke. I would like to replace the prop (damaged) My question is sizing. The prop thats on it now is a #19640A40P13 10.38X13P (10 SPLINE)
Would it be possible to gain some top end by changing my prop or should I just stick with the stock replacement?

My 94 merc 25 backfires when I try to start and will not fire. I have good spark and fresh fuel, seems to be getting enough gas because the plugs are wet. I even tried starting fluid but can't get it to start. I disconnected the primer to see if it was possibly stuck open but had no luck. HELP!
I have a 94 merc. 25 hp 2 stroke that isnt peeing water at idle. If i put it in gear it will pee water real good, once i take it out of gear it stops and just sputters out. Could this be a water pump issue or is this normal. I have it in a barrel, no ears.

I found a good deal on a 25 Merc. tiller long shaft. I think it's a 93 but no tag. I have an 89 Evinrude 40 hp tracker long shaft that is remote on a bass tracker. Can I convert the merc to remote and how difficult would it be? Can I use my controls? Help Please
