    YEAR AND HP for chev/gm v-8

    I have a chev/gm marine engine in my 1968 Tollycraft 24 ft cruiser. The engine model # is 990211 and the serial #is WO3269. I would appreciate knowing the year of the motor and also the horsepower. Any help to find this out?? Thanks SeaPal

    1968 OMC i/o sometimes will not shift out of fwd gear. I don't know cause. Help?
