If I take the blue, or green wires off the solenoid and touch them on the battery, to move the Trim and Tilt up and down, can that damage it?
or should I put a jumper wire from the battery to the blue or green?

i think i need a new one, I took the wire that goes to the trim/tilt and put it on the + on the battery and it will move up or down depending on which color I put on there.
my question is do you think that is what I need?
it has 4 posts, so anyone know if they have different voltages?
