I had problems last time I took out black max 150. it ran for a mile - mile and a half then lost power .. would barly Idle .. pulling its self along was all it could do with the choke "injector" ingaged. Just aboe idle .

I have even compression 120
I rebuilt the fuel pump...
I posted a week ago , did not get any response except some one might have peed in my gas tank. .. Boat would Idle barely and once I hit forward gear it could be Kept running with the "choke".
Does this sound like a fuel pump issue ? compression even on all 6 .

running my black max 150 hp today , had it cranked up pretty well but not quite flat out , any way it lost power and nearly died. I though I lunched a piston ! Anyway I nursed it back to the dock with the "choke" button it would barly run, not much up off idle or it would die.

My radio blew up in the boat last year and took the rectifier with it. So the gauges were not working. I replaced the rectifier and the gauges came back except the tach. it sits around 7000 RPM .. it does bounce around some but thats it. Is it fried ??
on the mercury express parts site I cannot get a good number for the carb kits on my 84 mercury 150 . On another site I can find a carb kit however it mentions having 2 needles in hte kit .. so do I need 3 of these kits for the 6 cylinder or is this a complete kit ? The # I get is 113655...
Hi I just got a set of the trim tabs with the gas shocks on them from a friend who took them off his boat when he sold it. Any way he had a 17 foot Baja and I have a 18 foot checkmate eluder. the trim plates help some but they seem to really nose the boat down ... maybe too much .. not real...
