    Re: Support plate for 1979 Chrysler 459h9h How's this for a crack? I bought the motor (crack and all) attached to a Bayhawk 172 last week. I was able to finagle the plate over the engine block by removing the carb, plugs, and throttle cablest. Thanks for the quick response!

    Support plate for 1979 Chrysler 459h9h

    I have a severely cracked support plate on my 1979 691cc (45hp) Chrysler 459h9h. Does anyone know if any other Chrysler models plate would be interchangable. I have a lead on a 1973 chrysler 458hd plate but im not sure if it would work.
