    my boat is a alum 14' deep v tiller weighing about 800 lbs with me and gear. current prop is 9" x 9p ,motor is 15 hp 4 stroke 2007 mercury long shaft rated @ 5500 wot rpm (note on motor) installed a tach at wot i'm at 5900 rpm and 20.5 mph any advice on what prop I should be using ,before I blow...

    Hello, I have a problem,maybe..at WOT about 4900 RPM with tiller pegged all the way open(motor running perfect) I hear a ..TANG-TANG-TANG...every 2-3 seconds...when I moved the throttle off pegged about 1/8 of a turn it stopped ..back to pegged it started again It made no noticeable RPM change...

    I have a # 1B468399 (serial number) looking for a wiring dia. for this motor, I had a little melt-down been trying to find a service manual on ebay with no luck. Would appreciate any help. thanks,Steve
