    Cutting off shifting out of gear

    My dad's 2000 Evinrude 150 cuts off shifting from forward to neutral. It shifts fine from reverse to neutral. It will also start in gear. Any suggestions? Is there some kind of sticking "burp switch"? Or "shift assist" like on my I/O? Thanks

    Slow start

    Hello, My boat is powered by a 1990 OMC I/O, 4.3 175 horsepower V6. Always seems to start after I release the key from the start position. It is like the starter can turn and turn but it fires when the starter stops and then it starts and runs. Done this as long as I can remember. Why?
