Hello all,
I have a 1990 Sunbird with the 4.3 175 horsepower engine. Last year it would run fine for 20 minutes or so then gradually lose rpm's until it would barely run. I worked on it with only partial success until I had to winterize it. New parts include the coil, spark plugs, points...
My dad's 2000 Evinrude 150 cuts off shifting from forward to neutral. It shifts fine from reverse to neutral. It will also start in gear. Any suggestions? Is there some kind of sticking "burp switch"? Or "shift assist" like on my I/O?
Thanks
Hello,
My boat is powered by a 1990 OMC I/O, 4.3 175 horsepower V6. Always seems to start after I release the key from the start position. It is like the starter can turn and turn but it fires when the starter stops and then it starts and runs. Done this as long as I can remember. Why?
