I asked this question in a previous post but no one replied with an answer.
Can I get points and condensers from the local auto parts store, and if so....what should I ask for? What kind of "other" engine would have the same type of points and condensers that would work on my 1976 45 HP Chrysler...
Could someone please explain how to set the timing on 1976 45 HP Chrysler...model 457HH. I don't have any of the fancy tools....just wrenches. Can't find "step by step" instructions on Google.

Hey guys. I putting a new deck on my 16ft tri-hull. Should I keep the subfloor open back at the bilge drain area in front of the transom so the subfloor can drain...if it needs to......OR....just glass it closed....and hope the new deck will stay dry and not leak underneath?

I did mention the length of 16 ft...tri-hull. It's a 76 FishMaster with a 45 hp Chrysler. I fish on the lake about once a week.
The thickness of the deck is only 1 1/2 inches. It's not wet at the bottom of the foam. I've been watching it dry since last spring.
