2000 Bayliner Cierra
I just put my engine back in the boat and put the out drive back on. Now all of the gear oil in my reservoir bottle ends up leaking into the bilge. So far I have checked:
The bottle, no leaks.
The hose to the thru-hull fitting & the fitting...
I just removed my outdrive in order to pull my engine so I could replace a bad flywheel. These creatures were in the exhaust port of the outdrive. Anyone know what they are and if they are needed?

Can anyone help me out? I have a 2000 mercury I/O Alpha I. Has a chevy 305 engine with Thunderbolt V ignition. This is a carburated model. My problem is I have lost power with the engine. Originaly the boat ran at 4800-5000 rpm and a speed of 46kts. Now I can only get 3800 rpm and 15kts...
