My Johnson powerhead took a cramp this weekend. Piston rod retainer (loose bolts ) broke and bust a whole ( quater size ) in the Exhaust side. So my question is, can it be fix ( welded ) is it work it getting it fix or do i have to cough up and buy a rebuilt powerhead or bare head...
Hope someone can help me with my issue. Boat start up and idles fine. Runs fine at about 5-6 MPH but will bog down and dies if i push the gas throttle. Does that everytime. Has new spark plugs, battery, gas oil mixture is right. I'm thinking fuel pump, or carb problem. Also was told that a bad...
